Edward Saleem
Mr. Saleem has over 20 years of sales, marketing,
training, and management experience. He
is skilled at using innovative and highly adaptive
methods of organizing, motivating, and leading teams
from the inception phase through goal attainment. His
areas of expertise include performance improvement,
marketing management, project management, process
methodology, financial control, and business plan
development.
At Computer Sciences Corporation, Mr. Saleem was in
charge of the Nortel Networks account in Raleigh,
North Carolina and served as Senior Manager of the
Applications Solutions Center. He organized,
staffed, and instituted a solutions center made up
of four global teams (architecture, organizational
change, communications, and training) and established
applications solutions centers in Raleigh and Toronto. He
instituted a disciplined project management approach
to meeting the Software Engineering Institute Capability
Maturity Model Level 3 requirements. His
other achievements at Nortel include developing and
implementing premier performance-oriented training
programs for 1100 applications personnel, designing
and instituting product implementation studies and
hardware and software tools for the applications engineering
staff, and formulating business plans for new application
products and business processes.
Previously, Mr. Saleem served as Regional Sales Manager
for Tempo Instruments in Hauppauge, New York, where
he was responsible for rebuilding and training a power
quality systems sales staff in the Southeast. He
rebuilt the sales force—including hiring, training,
motivating, and managing a sales team—and led
the sales department to achieve its annual goals. Mr.
Saleem also developed and implemented product marketing
plans for the region; high-level sales presentations,
seminars, and training for customers; and a performance
management plan for the national sales team.
Prior to joining Tempo, Mr. Saleem was Regional Sales
Manager for Dranetz/BMI in Edison, New Jersey, where
he rebuilt an effective sales and marketing team and
managed sales performance, training, and support for
more than 50 field sales and sales support personnel.
His previous experience includes Senior Sales Associate
and Regional Sales Manager positions at companies
including Rosemount Analytical Systems, Robert Hudgins
Company, and Rochester Instrument Systems. Mr.
Saleem’s track record of successes at these
firms includes routinely surpassing sales goals, increasing
the customer base, developing business plans and training
programs, and improving the effectiveness of the sales
force.
