Sharon
Dobbs
Ms. Dobbs is a training designer, facilitator, and
consultant with over 16 years of experience facilitating
group process and teaching creative ways to improve
communication and problem solving. Founder
of Team Dynamics, a training and consulting business,
she specializes in customizing training team-building
programs that help organizations develop competitive
behaviors that improve people, productivity, and profitability. A
certified experiential Ropes course instructor since
1989, Ms. Dobbs has a gift for helping people recognize
and realize potential in themselves and others.
As principal of Team Dynamics, Ms. Dobbs designs custom
training and team-building programs that are enjoyable,
energizing, and offer practical solutions to team
problems. She is an expert at debriefing
both indoor and outdoor activities in a manner that
permits participants to appreciate what they did in
an exercise and realize how it transfers and relates
to their job. Her clients include USAA,
San Antonio Federal Credit Union, World Savings, Deloitte
and Touch, Harris Corporation, Sea World, Taco Bell,
Taco Cabana, SBC, Hyatt, Spherion, John Deere, Pfizer,
and Baptist Health System. Ms. Dobbs also
works with community organizations and youth groups.
Prior to founding Team Dynamics in 1996, Ms. Dobbs
was co-creator of Team Leadership Resources, an experiential
training company. Her accomplishments included
designing and implementing a state-of-the-art Ropes
course and marketing and facilitating experiential
training programs.
Previously, Ms. Dobbs was employed at Colonial Hills
Hospital in San Antonio, where she facilitated process
groups using experiential therapy methods to help
individuals overcome or adapt to their personal obstacles.
Ms. Dobbs serves on the board of directors of the
American Society for Training and Development and
St. Mary's University Alumni Association.  She
also is a member of the Texas Experiential Ropes Association.
